Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney, born Amal Alamuddin, a Lebanon native, is a Lebanese and British barrister, who has been an activist for human rights over several years. As a graduate of Oxford University and New York University School of Law her extensive and impressive career working in the areas of international law and human rights have earned her worldwide acclaim. Her high-profile clients have included various nation-states and countries, such as the Republic of Armenia in its fight for acceptance of Genocide victims Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney was married to American actor George Clooney and became a household brand in the popular world of the year 2014.
